Psi Chi is the National Honor Society in Psychology. The Vanguard University chapter of Psi Chi was established to encourage excellence in scholarship and to encourage participation in meaningful ways to serve those around us.
Established in 1998, the Psi Chi Distinguished Service Award honors the psychology major who best exemplifies the goals of Psi Chi, with emphasis on encouraging service to others, including campus ministries, psychology-related service projects, community service, church ministries, and volunteer work.
