Journals

Students at Vanguard University have access to the following professional psychology journals, either in print or through the full-text database of all journals published by the American Psychological Association (PsycARTICLES) or through ProQuest Psychology Journals. To search PsycARTICLES, Vanguard students can go to FirstSearch and select PsycARTICLES from the pull-down menu of databases under “Jump to Advanced Search.” If you’d like to browse articles from a specific journal, you can put the journal title in quotes (e.g., “Journal of Abnormal Psychology”) as a Keyword, and then you can specify a particular year (e.g., 2002) as the Publication Date. To search ProQuest Psychology Journals, Vanguard students can go to ProQuest, select “ProQuest Psychology Journals,” and then “continue” to the search screen.
