Here is one possible sequence of steps:
1. Generate a list of possible search terms: appearance, attractiveness, beauty, self-esteem, self-concept, adolescents, Japanese, teens, high-school, etc.
2. Try “self-esteem.” (too many)
3. Try “self-esteem AND appearance.” (still too many)
4. Try “self-esteem AND appearance AND Japanese.” (whoops, where did they all go?)
5. Try “Japanese.” (too many)
6. Try “self-esteem AND Japanese.” (yea!)
