Ross Andel’s (’97 Psychology) research entitled “The application of the variability of practice hypothesis in Alzheimer’s patients” was awarded an Honorable Mention in the competition for the Association for Anthropology and Gerontology’s 1997 Margaret Clark Award. Congratulations, Ross! Ross is now employed as a Research Assistant by the UC Irvine Institute for Brain Aging and Dementia. Included among his duties is the assessment of differences in motor skills and motor learning between patients diagnosed with probable Alzheimer’s Disease and healthy older adults.
